The Package Includes:
* 2 nights stay based on 2 people sharing a room.
* Breakfast
* Transport to and from walks.
* Baggage transfer
The package is designed for:
* Guests who wish to sample the experience of The Pennine Way as a preparation for completing the whole
walk at a later time.
* Those who only have a limited amount of time available and must complete only one or two sections at a time.
* Walkers who are completing the whole Pennine Way or more than the first 2 stages.
The aim is:
* to reduce the burden of carrying a full rucksack on the hardest stages, allowing the walker to concentrate
on the route and outstanding countryside.
* provide a base for 2 or 3 nights without having to transfer B & B.
* Cars can be left at The Old House without the worry of finding suitable parking regardless of the duration
of your stay here. Car parking fee £2 per day from departure day until collection of the vehicle.
Day 1:
* After breakfast guests will be taken to Edale for the start of the walk.
* Guests will then complete the first section of The Pennine Way (approx 16 miles) walking back to
The Old House. (This walk can be split into 2 days if required at the A57 / Snake Pass road).
Day 2:
* After breakfast guests will set off on the next stage of The Pennine Way to Standedge (approx 12 miles)
* For those who are completing more than the 2 days, we will arrange the transfer of your luggage to your next
Bed & Breakfast accommodation in Marsden, Diggle or Delph.
* Guests who are returning to The Old House on day 2 will be collected at Standedge on completion of their
Walk.
If you do not wish to drive home after the Day 2 walk, an additional night accommodation can be arranged when booking.
